What goes wrong with Samsung ranges

Touch panel beeping on its own

Keys select themselves or a whole row stops responding as heat and steam degrade the capacitive layer behind the glass. On Samsung the glass and touch board are one assembly, so this is a panel replacement. Swapping the main board first is a common, expensive miss.

Flex Duo cavity that will not run divided

The range heats the whole cavity when only the upper zone was selected. The control has to see the divider seated and the upper element circuit intact before it will split the oven. The lower oven still bakes, so owners live with it.

Burner that keeps clicking after it lights

The spark module fires every electrode together, so one wet or cracked electrode makes all the burners click with flames already established. Boil-over into the well is the usual cause, so we dry and reseat the caps before replacing the module.

The oven temperature sensor drifts or the convection fan motor slows, and longer bakes finish under setpoint. We measure the sensor cold and check real cavity temperature before touching calibration.

Before you call

After any boil-over on a gas Samsung, lift the burner cap and dry the electrode and the well before cooking again. That prevents most endless-clicking calls on these.
